A women's retreat experience built around comfort, connection, and nature.
Girlhood in the Woods was created for women craving connection, rest, and a return to the soft, joyful moments we often lost in adulthood.
Our mission is to create safe, cozy, adventure-filled outdoor retreats where women can reconnect with nature, rediscover the magic of their girlhood, and step confidently into new experiences.
We bring together comfort, community, and wilderness exploration - providing all the gear, support, and guidance so every woman from beginner to experienced adventurer, can simply show up, breathe, and feel empowered.
Hi, I’m Raelyn, and Girlhood in the Woods is truly a piece of my heart.
I grew up spending summers at my family’s cottages — swimming in the lake, getting lost in the woods, running around barefoot, and feeling completely free. Those were the moments where I felt the most like myself: curious, adventurous, safe, and full of joy.
As I got older, I realized how much I missed that version of me. The girl who loved being outside, who felt brave exploring new places, and who found comfort in nature. So I started going back to the outdoors, and slowly, I felt her again.
Girlhood in the Woods came from that feeling.
From wanting to reconnect with my own roots, my own joy, and my own sense of wonder — and wanting to share that same magic with other women.
This isn’t just something I do.
It’s who I am.
And I’m so excited to create spaces where we can all feel a little more wild, a little more free, and a lot more like ourselves.
